The Zeugdruck of textile print is a print on a colored textile. The color is first given to the textile before the print was applied on top. The image was cut out to form a mould. Then it was brushed on with a black layer. It was presse on to the colored textile On the black layer a mordant was applied to glue the silver leafs on. The silver leafs were covered with an isolation layer to prevent the oxidation.
